SLIDE folks (Supporting Learning of Inclusivity, Diversity, and Empathy) is an ongoing effort to combat and support the unlearning of racism and discrimination in our community. SLIDE received a $100 grant from the Small Neighbourhood Grant Initiative in 2020. Along with other fundraising, they were able to purchase diversity books for the library.

Community Services Recovery Fund

The Community Services Recovery Fund is a $400 million investment from the Government of Canada to support charities and non-profits as they focus on how to adapt their organizations for pandemic recovery. The final date to apply is February 21.
